- Study and characterize various mechanical and physical properties of obsidian using a nano-indenter (MTS)
- Observe morphology on fractured surface of obsidian by SEM
- Experience in using Universal testing machine for measuring fracture toughness
- Study and perform experiments on density and thermal conductivity of obsidian
- Experimentation sing DSC, XRF and ATR FTIR
